The arrogance was never in believing in God. It was in thinking God was small enough to fit inside your doctrines.

Trillions of suns.
Countless worlds.
Civilizations that may have existed
for millions of years.

And yet,
every religion believes
it has direct access to the Creator.

As if the vastness of existence
could fit inside memorized verses,
repeated rituals,
unquestionable dogmas.

Everyone looking at the same sky.
Everyone seeing
only their own reflection.
